Extra Æcclesiam means “Out of the Church”. The album accuses the enslaving christian order over the world. The album brings the holy writings to light, tools of power of mankind, and the perversion of self-proclaimed spiritual authorities since the origins of Church.
For fans of devilish blastbeats, powerful riffs, martial vocals and orchestral synth notes. The band presents its first full album “Extra Æcclesiam” in alliance with Necktwister on February 23th, 2023.

OPAQUE FUNERAL
Divine fruits I abused.
May the Lord keep my organs from decay, if I lie.
Larvae.
Your blame, I rot in excretions.
Larvae.
You swore, nefarious.
My carnal layer, devoured,
knows the flames.
Avoid the process.
Post mortem crunches.
Hear my corpse resistances.
Warm flesh. Glows my stigmata.
My unclosed wounds still nourished.
Fluids emanate from my flesh.
Abnormal floral scent.
Exhale the grave.
Perfume me. Opaque Funeral.
I saw the holiness.
Sweet vaporous.
Reveal the true nature of the deceased.
Immaculate, my being is not putrefied.
Hollow Face defies decomposition.
Revoke the laws of time
and worms that crawl towards me.
Glory my shrine obedient son.
The soul burns nevertheless my
blood has overcome death.
You’ll ever march.
Preserved after funeral.
Sarcophagus of a saint.
Eternal manifestation.

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
