Extra Æcclesiam means “Out of the Church”. The album accuses the enslaving christian order over the world. The album brings the holy writings to light, tools of power of mankind, and the perversion of self-proclaimed spiritual authorities since the origins of Church.
For fans of devilish blastbeats, powerful riffs, martial vocals and orchestral synth notes. The band presents its first full album “Extra Æcclesiam” in alliance with Necktwister on February 23th, 2023.

SYNODUS HORRENDA
Dried face.
Putrefaction exhumed after months of rest.
No eternal sleep for the rotting word of the Lord.
Degraded Rigor Mortis.
Dried face. Dead flesh of pope.
Thirsting wolves for the lambs’ empire.
The Prince’ son of the apostles is awakened for trial.
You’ll be exposed.
Synodus Horrenda
Inside the dark walls of the house of God.
Incense emanations conceal the pungent smell of death.
Sacratis Vestimentis.
Ornament the remains.
Stab his chest with nails.
Obedient posture on a chair.
Post mortem accusations.
Dexter blasphemy.
You, Lucifer,
take the guilty christian sovereign.
Torn three fingers of blessing off.
Ominous sign.
Desecrate the symbols of his reign.
Disdain.
Abandon this shape cedes to waters.
Dried face.
Putrefaction exhumed after months of rest.
No eternal sleep for the rotting word of the Lord.
Degraded Rigor Mortis.
Dried face. Dried face of Dead flesh.

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
