Extra Æcclesiam means “Out of the Church”. The album accuses the enslaving christian order over the world. The album brings the holy writings to light, tools of power of mankind, and the perversion of self-proclaimed spiritual authorities since the origins of Church.
For fans of devilish blastbeats, powerful riffs, martial vocals and orchestral synth notes. The band presents its first full album “Extra Æcclesiam” in alliance with Necktwister on February 23th, 2023.

OUT OF CONTROL
Ô Father, bring me all your hate.
I need you to strike the infidels.
Everything is gone, accomplish my fate.
Hear the devil’s bells.
Give me fire.
I‘ll give you ashes.
Give me the rage.
I’ll give you their heads.
Temples and churches will be marked
by the reversed cross.
Demons are out of control.
Here is a time where angels become our servants
as the whole of humanity.
Kneel down and die.
Hordes walking with their blades,
ready to despise that place.
Father Ô Father we’ve done.
The conquest can begin.
Ô Father, bring me all your hate.
I need you to strike the infidels.
Everything is gone, accomplish my fate.
Hear the devil’s bells.

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
